MAY CHANG

Piano / Music Theory Instructor 

Composing music has become a part of May’s life for years, she started learning Piano since the age of 5. Some of May’s compositions includes three albums: more than 50 pieces in contemporary classical and Ambient such as Evanescence Of a Butterfly's Dream, Counterclockwise Legend, Teardrop of Tulips, Dancing on the Cliff, Cactus in Grief, Mirage in Heaven, Wish, Reflection, Desires.... etc.

 

May is currently involved with research at CSPFA (Charter School Policy, Finance, and Administration) in UCLA. Her goal is to develop V.P.A (VAPA) K12 schools for 2023-2024 school year in Northern / Southern California. She is also devoted to collaborating and developing VPA programs/workshops/seminars in music programs for Private/Public Schools (K12), community programs such as Symphony Orchestras, Marching Band, Piano/Keyboard classes, Strings (Violin, viola, Cello)/Winds classes, Music appreciation, Theory......etc.

May is also a Music Producer for the upcoming Documentary, and Drama Film for a legend back to the 50's.

MARTIN BLASICK

MUSIC PRODUCER, SINGER, COMPOSER

FILM DIRECTOR, FILM SCRIPT WRITER

Since his first music cue in Earth Girls Are Easy, Martin has provided scores, songs, cues, arrangements and productions for a wildly diverse array of television shows and films and music artists.

Martin trained in jazz studies and classical composition at University Of North Texas. That and an innate love for pop music in it’s many forms have provided a bottomless fountain of inspiration from which to drink the waters of passion and creation.

Traditional music includes operatic classics for The 4th Tenor and big band jazz for the TV series Army Wives. Pop music includes Lindsey Lohan singing Martin’s song “Don’t Move On” onscreen in Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen” and producing “Miracles Happen” for the certified gold soundtrack album for Princess Diaries 2. Martin produced and co-wrote “Ladies Of Tampa” with Matthew McConaughey and Frankie Pine for the film Magic Mike.

Martin has produced celebrity vocal tracks for Brendan Fraser, Mary Steenburgen, Denise Richards, Eddie Griffin, Rodney Dangerfield, Denis Leary, Anne Hathaway, Heather Graham and more. His music appears in Oceans 12 & 13, The Matador, Kyle XY, Bedazzled, Ugly Betty, Lost, The Reaper, Undercover Brother, Kinsey, Samantha Who and many more.

An early adopter of digital recording, Martin has been using ProTools since it’s debut in 1991. To this day his passion for musical exploration is a daily quest that crosses through nearly any style of music. Particular loves are electronica, English composer Vaughan Williams and listening to KCRW. Martin is endorsed by Samick’s Greg Bennett guitars.

Martin performs as a singer-songwriter having released three albums and an EP as a solo artist. He is a member of the band Snowflakes. Additional endeavors including writing screenplays and movie directing.

NATASHA BLASICK
ACTRESS, MODEL, SINGER

Natasha Blasick was born in the former USSR in the city of Odessa on the Black Sea. Her first language is Russian, She grew up in a Soviet style apartment that housed two families. She made her debut as a lead actress in the film Death of Evil (2009). She is the oldest daughter of Sergei and Ludmilla and has a younger sister, Marina. Natasha is the first member of her family to pursue a career in acting.

Life in the USSR saw Natasha wearing homemade clothes and attending Young Pioneers of the Soviet Union camp. Interested in studying English from the age of six Natasha waited many winter hours for the most affordable public transportation to ferry her to and from her language classes. At the age of 14 she and her father, Sergei, were visited by a UFO. Natasha studied dance, acted in many plays and competed in several beauty contests. Eventually earning a masters degree in marketing Natasha bid farewell to family and Odessa on a voyage of love, to marry her American husband Martin Blasick.

Natasha immediately embraced both Los Angeles and the craft of acting where she studied technique with several coaches, melding the training into her own acting style. Her leading role in Notes from the New World (2011), based on Dostoevsky's Notes From The Underground screened in festivals across Europe. In The Black Russian (2013) Natasha traveled to India to shoot the title role of the multi-layered Francesca, a Russian ex-patriot caught up in a deadly game of love. Mockbuster Paranoid Activity 2 (2011) starred Natasha in a battle against an Alaskan poltergeist.

She was the swimsuit winner in the Mrs. World contest and appeared as Sasha the secret agent on Days of Our Lives (1965). She also appeared in Meet the Spartans (2008) and (as herself) in Battle of the Bods (2008). She had the chance show her comedic talents doings sketches for a season of Spike TV's MDN (2004) and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003).

Natasha co-produced Death of Evil (2009) and Vampiro (2009). In 2012 Natasha released Live In Your World, an EP of her own brand of pop-electronica music.
